The Cycle Horse Power Model B engine case is an aftermarket product.

The Cycle Horse Power TC-88 B engine cases are crafted in one of the leading foundries in the U.S.A. These cases are machined on state of the art C.N.C. machine centers. These cases are 8 pounds heavier than a Harley Davidson™ case for added strength and will accept all stock Harley Davidson™ components. Additional material has been added in key areas for strength, without requiring modifications for frame clearance.

The Cycle Horse Power case is made from cast aluminum #356T6 and is heat treated, the same as a Harley Davidson™ case.

These cases will fit in 2000-2006 Harley Davidson™ standard Model B Softail™ frames . For model years 2000 - 2001 - 2002 you must use two [1 ON EACH SIDE] Harley Davidson™ roller bearings #24604-00 on the crank shaft.[Crank shafts for these motors early and late are all the same size.] To change an early crank to fit a late model case you will need Harley Davidson™ Spacer # 24039-03 and Thrust Washer #8972.

A bolt on Model A oil filter bracket Harley Davidson™ part # 26261-99 for black, 2627-499 for silver, must be used, or you can use a remote filter.

For best results use lock-tight on all pressed bearing surfaces. Refer to your Harley™ Service Manual to assemble your Model B case.

2000 up Softail™ transmission must be used. 1985-2006 Softail™ primary will fit these cases.

Cycle Horse Power cases can be bored out to a 4 1/2 inch bore. You can get 127 inch out of the engine with 4 1/2 cylinders and pistons, you don’ have to change the stroke. However if you care to change the stroke you can get as much as 167 cubic inches out of the motor.

A Manufacturers Statement of Origin is issued with each case.
